Standard First Aid + CPR and AED

Standard First Aid is the commonly required first aid certification for the workplace. This comprehensive two-day course teaches all the first aid and CPR skills covered in Emergency First Aid training, as well as:

  • Head and spine injuries
  • Bone, muscle and joint injuries
  • Sudden Medical Emergencies
  • Environmental Emergencies
  • Poisons

Successful students earn a three-year certification in Standard First Aid; CPR Level A, C, or HCP; and AED.

CPR/AED Level A, C, or HCP

This one-day course on cardiopulmonary resuscitation provides the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies (depending on the level chosen), including:

  • Assisting with medications
  • Angina and heart attack

  3. An online Teaching Experience module (30-34 min) and a classroom component with the support of a Teaching Experience supervisor
