Standard First Aid Instructors and Advanced First Aid Instructors for positions throughout the North

We are seeking dynamic, qualified and reliable individuals to deliver Red Cross First Aid training programs throughout the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Deliver training programs to groups and individuals, according to national standards
  • Ensure the health and safety of participants during courses
  • Evaluate course participants based on prescribed performance criteria and provide continuous feedback
  • Prepare the course facilities, teaching materials, and equipment for each course
  • Submit participant information to Course Manager upon completion

Requirements

  • Must be a certified Red Cross instructor
  • One to three years of related experience is an asset
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • A valid Class 5 driver’s license

 

Candidates must be certified Red Cross First Aid Instructors.  One to three years of related experience is an asset.  Strong communication and organizational skills, as well as interpersonal and presentation skills are required. A valid driver’s licence and criminal record check is required.
