Medical Operations Manager

We’re seeking a motivated and reliable medical professional (EMR/OFA Level 3 or EMT/PCP) to join our team as Medical Operations Manager. The successful applicant will report directly to the CEO and oversee day-to-day operations and logistics of our growing medical services company, in addition to the following roles and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule staff across multiple contracts at various locations and offer employee support as needed
  • Manage inventory, shipping, and receiving
  • Ensure quality of patient care records
  • EMR/PCP work at remote sites as needed
  • Schedule and train students for First Aid and CPR certification courses
  • Provide Occupational Health and Safety support
  • Develop and maintain company policies and procedures
  • Consult with Medical Oversight Physician and CEO to update medical protocols
  • Conduct drug and alcohol testing as needed

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a valid, unrestricted EMR/OFA Level or EMT/PCP certificate from a recognized Canadian institution. (Preference will be given to EMT/PCP.) Must have a flexible schedule that allows time for extended travel, as well as the following:

  • Results-oriented individual with a proactive and creative approach to problem-solving
  • Scheduling and logistics experience, preferably in an industrial setting
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Highly motivated with sound judgement
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with PC computers, office productivity suites, and web browsers a must
  • Valid Class 4 driver’s license (minimum class 5) with clean drivers abstract
  • Criminal record check with vulnerable sector clearance
